In Conversation
Not every conversation needs to end in agreement — but it can still lead to connection.
In Conversation is a space for young Muslims to sit with difference, share their stories, and build bridges through dialogue.
Let’s talk. Let’s listen. Let’s understand.

Cityscapes: Games Night
Escape the summer heat (or whatever wild weather Edmonton throws our way) and join us for Cityscapes: Games Night! Hosted by The Green Room, this is your chance to kick back, connect, and dive into a night of friendly competition and laughter. Whether you’re a board game pro, a card shark, or just looking to try something new, there’s a spot for you. Bring a friend for some 1v1 action or jump into a bigger group game.
We’ll have tasty food, awesome prizes, and plenty of good vibes. Come for the games, stay for the community, see you there!

Cityscapes: Rafts and Roots 🥾🚣
What: Join us this month for an unforgettable outdoor event. We’re hitting the river again, and this time, we’re starting on foot.
Kick things off with a guided Talking Rock Indigenous walking tour through Edmonton’s River Valley. Led by Métis geologist Keith Diakiw, this 1.5-hour walk blends stories, ceremony, and wild history from the land we call home.
Then hop into a raft for a 12.5 km chill cruise through the heart of the city, under nine bridges, with river guides sharing cool facts and fun vibes the whole way.
When: Sunday June 29th, 8:45 PM - 2:00 PM.
Who: This event is only available to those over 16 and under 35 years of age.
Where: Our meeting location and parking for all guests is at Dawson Park (10298 89 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5Z 0E7).
Carpool when possible as parking can be hard to find at times.
Important Notes:
Level of Difficulty: Fairly easy, with minor elevation gain. Most trails are paved and suitable for a relaxed-paced walk.
Do I need rafting experience?
Good news, no experience is required!
How much physical activity is involved?
This activity may present challenges for individuals with mobility concerns.
While the skilled river guide navigates the raft, passenger participation and paddling power is crucial, requiring some paddling.
Where are the washrooms?
For your convenience, there are various public washroom facilities along the journey:
You’ll find the first public washroom at the meeting points where you board the shuttle.
During the midpoint stop in the float, washrooms are also available nearby.
As you wrap up your adventure, back where you parked, public washrooms will still be accessible.
What do we need to bring?
It’s summer in Edmonton, and anything can happen! Please dress for the weather and bring warm or cool clothes, a hat, sunscreen and plenty of water.
During this trip TheGreenRoom will provide snacks and food for the duration of the trip.
RiverWatch provides all other safety equipment, such as first aid kits, PFDs and rain jackets.
