The Green Room invites you to join us for Habitat for Humanity’s annual Interfaith Build!

Habitat for Humanity Edmonton has been giving a "hand up" to hard working families in need since 1991. The Interfaith Works Project is an opportunity for the Edmonton faith community to help build homes for hard-working families who would not be able to purchase a home through a traditional mortgage.

Join us on May 30 or June 13 to serve families, learn new skills, build a home, and connect with friends. A $10/person fee will help The Green Room cover costs of snacks, lunch, and safety gloves for volunteers.

Build time is from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and volunteers MUST be punctual. Anyone arriving late will miss Habitat’s orientation and will not be permitted to work on site. A lunch and prayer break are scheduled.

What are the minimum skills, ability and age required?
- Beginners to tradespeople are welcome.
- Must be at least 16 years old. There is no upper age limit.
- Must be able to work independently, have conversational English and the ability to do labour.

What if we don’t have any tools or safety gear?
Habitat for Humanity provides you with everything you need, and The Green Room will be providing volunteers with safety gloves. Please note that construction requires hard hats & steel toed boots (provided by Habitat) and all volunteers must wear long pants.
