The Green Room invites you to Tech Detox: a three-part series exploring the effects of technology on the body, mind, and spirit.
PART ONE: Mindfulness Hike
Join us as we embark on a mindfulness hike along Blackfoot Lake as part of our Cityscapes program. Cityscapes is a bi-monthly outdoor event with an experiential education component. Slip away from the hustle and bustle of urban life and rejuvenate your mind.
We will meet at The Green Room at 10:00 AM, and will take a van out to Blackfoot Lake for the day. Participants are encouraged to bring water bottles and wear comfortable shoes. Please remember to wear sunscreen and bug spray, and to pack a jacket with you, in case it rains, or the weather gets cool.
In order to fully experience the mindfulness hike and completely immerse ourselves in the nature around us, we ask that all electronic devices are left at home. Cellphones will be stored upon arrival to Blackfoot Lake, and will be returned to participants at the end of the hike.
Transportation and snacks will be provided by The Green Room.
