  • The Green Room 10310 102 Ave NW Edmonton, AB, T5J Canada (map)

Titled as “the most beautiful documentary” by Filmmaker Magazine, and recognized as a “heartrending and inspirational quest for truth...exemplify[ing] the power of the human spirit” by Austin Chronicle.

Join us for an evening of film and conversation, as we screen the documentary “These Birds Walk” followed by an online conversation with the filmmaker, Omar Mullick.

Film Synopsis:
In Karachi, Pakistan, a runaway boy's life hangs on one critical question: where is home? The streets, an orphanage, or with the family he fled in the first place? Simultaneously heart-wrenching and life-affirming, THESE BIRDS WALK documents the struggles of these wayward street children and the samaritans looking out for them in this ethereal and inspirational story of resilience.
